Description

No Name Productions is a digital media studio that is driven by students from Drexel University, looking to immerse you in media through more ways than one.

Early History

NoNameProductions was founded in 2024 by Dylan Morales and Titi Ekunsanmi, a pair of seniors graduating from Drexel University looking to put together a group of students to produce a digital media concept for senior project. The concept revolved around creating an interactive music video, which led to the group collaborating with some friends from Drexel. These friends were in a band and graciously agreed to allowing the use one of their songs for the project. The group assembling period was tough, and ultimately left the team smaller than had hoped. Despite capacity concerns and persistent technical issues, they still prevailed in developing their debut project titled, Impatient.

Impatient

After beginning development, the team immediately encountered a number of issues regarding the logistics of how the full scope of the project would be completed. Initially demotivated by the compounding issues that persistently occurred, the team continue to develop creative solutions to get by, but at the cost of valuable time. Come winter term, the initial full scope of the project now needed to be downsized about 50%, so about half of the entire music video was cut. The team accepted this pivot, and eventually began to realize that it would actually be for the best, as capacities could now be better met.

Recent

Although we hoped we would be better suited to handle the new workloads, this was unfortunately not the case. Ongoing persistent issues caused for more and more time to be lost, eventually leading the project to be downsized again by the end of winter term. Production goals simply could not be met and what was best for the final outcome of the experience was to pivot to develop just a trailer of the experience with the team's created in-scene assets. The team is currently rolling with the punches and is looking to finish out the rest of the polish phase for the project strong.
